About Private Property

Private Property is passionate about property and technology, and we work tirelessly to apply the latest technology to the property industry in the most innovative ways.

Private Property became the leading property site in South Africa by focussing on the private seller. This enabled us to concentrate on building a system that helped buyers find their ideal properties quickly and easily. The growth has been exponential and buyers registering on the system by far outnumber new properties added every month.

In our quest to stay the leading and best property website in South Africa, we are creating a truly digital property marketplace. This makes it easy for prospective buyers and tenants to find properties for sale and to rent, and to provide enough property information to make an informative buying or renting decision.

Finally, a decision has been made to expand the company’s focus. Estate agents, who have always played an important role in the property industry and the private seller market, would be included on the website. This gives buyers and tenants an even wider range of properties to search for and allows estate agents access to a powerful advertising platform.
